Is it safe to shop online?

Yes. We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure that your personal data is stored safely and cannot be accessed by third parties.

How can I see how much stock is available on the website?

Our website shows stock levels as accurately as possible, at the time of your order. In a case where stock levels may not be listed on the website, one of our representatives will be in contact with you to discuss possible extended lead times. If, however, you want to confirm quantities available, you are welcome to contact us before you place your order online. Please note however that stock cannot be reserved.

Where are your products manufactured?

We are proud to say that at least 60% of our products are locally manufactured, while a mere 40% is imported.

Do you have representatives calling cross border?

Yes we do. Please contact our offices for more information on representatives calling in your area.

How do I request a quote?

Please contact a branch nearest to you, and one of our friendly consultants will be more than happy to assist you. Please note that no pricing may be provided telephonically, so please have your request ready to be submitted on email (preferably on company letterhead) in order for us to assist you timeously. Preferred email addresses are sales@shol.co.za, (all additional branch sales email addresses)

Can you guarantee stock?

Due to the nature of our business, we cannot always guarantee stock. We are competitively priced, and our products are fast moving. If you have any concerns over stock levels, please contact us before placing your order.

What are our delivery lead times?

We have a 72-hour delivery lead time policy; however, this is area dependent and may vary for outlaying country areas.

What is the product return process?

Whilst every effort is made in supplying you with the highest quality products. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with any of our products, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing sales@shol.co.za. (note: email addresses for various regions will be supplied)

I have an account query, who can I speak to?

Do you provide product training?

As a valued customer, we do offer product training upon request.

Are you a Nationally based company?

Sanlic House of Locks boast three branches; Bredell (Head Office), Cape Town, and Durban. We also have agents who trade out of East London, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, George, and Namibia. Our manufacturing facility is based in Babelegi/Hammanskraal. It is one of the few operations that still exist and our factory is nearly fully automated with 15000m² under roof. We have quite a large National footprint, with sales representatives who call cross border into neighbouring countries, such as Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Mozambique to name few.

Do you supply end users?

Sanlic House of Locks do not supply end users, but we are more than happy to refer you to a local stockist near you, for your convenience.

How do I contact a sales representative?

Please contact one of our branches in your various regions and our internal sales department will be more than happy to assist you in obtaining the contact details for the correct representative in your area.

What is the criteria to open an account?

A sales representative must contact you and visit your company premises. We only supply to registered businesses and not end users. Goods must be sold from business premises and not a place of residence. A check list will be completed by the sales representative and submitted to our accounts department along with your credit application form to begin the process, once we have feedback on the success of your application, we will advise you accordingly.
